I'm cheering for DET to mop the floor with the yotes, that's for sure. One more win and they can put that pathetic franchise out of its misery, and move back to Winnipeg.

Over a team that has no strategy. The Coyotes look lost out there, and the only guy showing heart is Shane Doan. One guy can't win a series in today's NHL. Only goalies can steal games. Plus none of the Yotes players look like they care cause they know the team is folding. And also lets face it, Bryzgalov is choking and not helping. He needs to make those easy goal saves to help his team build confidence, and its just not happening...With that said you cannot take this series too serious.
speaking of goalies, your buddy Howard is not going to help this Wings team go deep in the playoffs. He is not ready at all. He has some solid saves yes, but there are times he is getting burned up high after committing to the shot WAY to early, and it happens almost every game, its not just a one time thing. Mostly all the coyotes goals were weak goals allowed by Howard. And this is the Yotes we are talking about.
Get ready when they have to face a team like the Sharks, Canucks, or even Ducks...
Not saying they are not good, they are thats for sure, but their goalie Howard is going to be a problem for them this post season. You will see.Comment -
Good post puckhead. I don't have a prob u disagreeing as long as u make a point and u are correct, Howard is a big liability, but I believe our defense will help him. People talking so much about the Sharks, but who knows if they will even get past the Kings

I think I am eating my words about them. Tied series and I missed the second game so IDK what I missed exactly. But I have the Sharks advancing in 5 games. Thinking guys like Heatley, and Thornton would finally show up this time around, and apparently they are not. But game 3 should decide what team wants it more and what players will show up and take charge. Exactly like the Sabres Flyers series.Comment -

They are looking pretty good so far. I thought Phoenix would give them a stiffer test but now that they are up 3-0 in games, it's pretty much a foregone conclusion they will advance. It is however, a very long road to the Stanley Cup final...Comment -

You forgot to mention their heart, skill and experience. I also really think Howard is a young and determined goalie to show the doubters wrong. He played great last night and made important saves in key situations. I got nothing against the Red Wings but I'm not hoping on the bandwagon. Anyone who is saying the Coyotes are soft and aren't a real team clearly didn't watch the regular season. Detroit is smashing them 3-0, what more could they possibly do other than sweep? This team will only get better when Zetterberg comes back also. The Cup is up for grabs this year. Wings and Canucks would be a hell of series if they eventually meet and as a Maple Leaf/Hockey fan, that would a great best of 7 to watch.Comment -

The Redwings were leadin 4-1 midway through the 3rd Period last night..and I seen Redwing players diving on the ice and laying down in front of shots to block them leading 4-1!! They are really giving Howard a big boost and building his confidence.
The Canucks look good this year...But, they are only beating an 8th seed team missing key players from last years Stanley Cup team. So, I'm not very impressed yet with the Canucks. Time will tell.
The Sharks had a bad game getting penalty after penalty to help the Kings get goals. I say Sharks take this series in 6 or less.Comment -
