Wow. This is all based on Beckett's last start and I'm not yet convinced. Sox are 2-10. I'll take Toronto at 2 to 1 odds.

Ya, but did you see how Beckett threw in that win? Like it was 2003-2007 again: intensity, consistent 96, sick deuce, hit spots. ya, I am a Sox fan, [so is Br0nxer he's just faking it] but Beckett at home Vs Jo Jo Reyes? I think there are surely better games to bet on if you are looking at the Jays.

auto play on the Jays at those odds

Boston fell short in their comeback rally tonight, Jays hit the ball, and its Beckett laying over 2:1, I don't care if I lose either, this is a must value play.

Toronto is ABSOLUTELY the play -- massive bargain right there. Beckett is highly unpredictable and could easily slip back to average or below average mode.

The linesmakers aren't in the business of giving away free money, so as tempting as Toronto looks, there's a saying about things that look too good to be true.

its worth a small play on toronto. why not at those odds. just a lil pocket change if they win and if not it wont make a dent in the bankroll, i dont care if boston wins 10-0 laying that much juice will catch up to you eventually even if they win today

Toronto is the play based on value alone whether it wins or loses.

Taking the over. If I take a side it will be the jays. Absolutely no way Ill take the Red Sox at -230. Beckett is lifetime 3-6 with a 7.00+era against Toronto in 14 starts. He has not won against Toronto since 2007. I will not lay -230 on Beckett just because he pitched 1 good game.

JoJo obviously no ace, but going on last game logic, at the book seems to be doing for Beckett, he was solid. He posted 1er in 7 innings with 6 strike outs. Not to mention with Morrow coming back, he is in a position to step it up.

I think over is the obvious play here and Jays if you want to take a side. Not to mention the Jays are just straight value at +190ish

The I read about this game the more I like the Jays. From espn:

"Since the start of 2008, he's 0-3 with an 11.85 ERA and .361 opponent batting average in six outings against the Blue Jays, giving up at least one home run in each.Toronto first baseman Adam Lind is 8 for 16 with a homer and four doubles off Beckett, while second baseman Aaron Hill is 13 for 32 with a home run and six doubles. Jose Bautista is 3 for 6 with two homers against Beckett."

Adam Lind had an ok game last night, that missed HR will obviously have him jacked up for tonight, so I think his numbers will continue against Beckett, Aaron Hill had a great 3-4 night last night so he should keep that rolling against Beckett tonight as well.

I don't think there is any way you can logically take the Red Sox in this position at -230.
