Its not just 1 game. The Nuggz have been rolling ever since they got rid of Melo.

They play more like a team than anyone else. Look at the Heat, Lakers, Orlando, OKC, etc... they all depend on 1 or 2 players to be fully fit for the playoffs. This Denver team has equal talent all around and one of the best coaches around.

This game officially validates them as a serious threat in making it to the finals.

What are they now without Carmelo, 12-4? OKC was 14-2 last month. Denver is no doubt better now but I don't think they're the best in the NBA. JJ is correct in that nobody wants to play them, but nobody in the West wants to play any of the top 6 seeds, nor the top 4 in the East, so it's not exactly just the Nuggets.

The Nuggets size will be a problem for every team in the Playoffs. And their deep bench continues to impress and outplay their opponents.

yeah most of the time their play is inspiring. Sometimes they still stagnate on offense but a lot less than they used to when melo was there.
Funny thing is this isn't the peak for them. Even Karl says he barely knows the team and a lot of the young players haven't come into their own yet.
I hope they keep Nene and wonder if they'll try to pick someone else up in the offseason with the extra cash from losing the melo and billups contracts.

I should've known this awful thread was coming.
Denver is not the best team in the NBA and I doubt they even reach the Western Conference Finals.
