i agree. another thing i hate is the bitching after you beat certain guys . they call out your play and say your stupid for making that move. what the hell its my chips and i an do what i want with them . they just attack you . i agree most of them are probably in their 20s releasing pent up aggression. they just cannot take losing. really sad some of these fuks are.

decided not to post my picks since i lost on michigan st -3 vs penn st and got tons of backlash about how stupid i was (even though i was hitting anything and everything before that, including vcu +355).

but just for you - i like vcu +3 1/2 - they are much faster than butler can handle imho

i see that to, every time i see somebody running their mouth, i look at their profile and i would say 90% of them are non sbr pros's who only post to get their daily points. wouldnt get to worked up they are just playing for points and trying to get free plays at sportsbooks, because they dont have the real money to do it.

playing with the chat function off is like playing at the casino with my headphones on, takes a lot of the fun/socialism out of the game imho. not all of us are just playing for the money, if we were it would be pretty sad to play for 3 hours to win 100 points - that's less than minimum wage even if you win.

i'd like to say "it doesn't matter what people say to you at a poker table at a live casino or online" but it DOES matter. it doesn't hurt my feelings or any gay shit like that, but it completely ruins the fun of a good conversation amongst degenerate gamblers.

i love it when the chat is about what picks you have, sportsbook bonuses, contests, etc!

Mike, I agree.

Most of the players here are pleasant and mature. unfortunately, it just takes one guy at a table to ruin the mood and fun of it.

The ironic thing is that if one guys is bitching another guys out for his play, even he is correct in his poker critique, it just pushes the weaker players out and/or makes them tighter and more tentative.

Ruins the mood and action on the table.......... Just dumb on many levels.

That said, IMHO, a little shit talk is alright as long as it is not overly nasty nor goes on too long.

I haven't seen anything too egregious. I'll bitch about the bad beats but I never complain about anyone's play, for the reasons Beerdog listed above.

Just ignore the chat. I usually click on the persons avatar and put them on ignore when people annoy me on most poker sites. There are some players who cannot play their best game without being rude to the world.
