I very seldom use InstaCASH but I just got this notice and I don't think I like it.
NETELLER is streamlining the way you deposit funds using instaCASH.
On March 15, 2006, we will be rolling out instaCASH deposit improvements to all NETELLER members. The goal is to speed up transfers to your favorite merchants, while reducing accidental service charges.
Changes to deposits with instaCASH include:
All instaCASH deposits initiated on a merchant site will be withdrawn from your NETELLER account first
If the full amount cannot be covered, the remaining funds will be withdrawn from your bank account (a $10-minimum withdrawal from bank account)
InstaCASH deposit example
While on a merchant website, you transfer $100 to your merchant account using instaCASH. You have $60 in your NETELLER account.
The $60 is transferred from your NETELLER account and the remaining $40 is transferred from your bank account.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding something but here's my objection:
The rare times I use InstaCASH it is because I have money in my chequing account that I would like to integrate into my betting bankroll - and so it's better to just use it for my next deposit where they have free InstaCASH, rather than wait the 4-5 days for an EFT transfer.
Any money already sitting in my Neteller account is fine. It's already right where I want it. Just leave it alone.
It's not a big hairy deal but I just don't like it. Am I missing an upside here?
