In the beginning of the year, Richmond really played down to competition. I would have to think those days are over.

Totally agree, this team was a real disappointment to me many times this year when I wagered on them, I remember that bucknell loss like it was yesterday, but they have been fantastic over the past month and should be more than a four point favorite over morehead

Here is richmonds schedule , other than a poor temple showing and losing to xavier , they have been playing like a team possessed for the past month or so. I really didnt have them beating temple and winning the A10 though, impressive showing recently

Morehead State was lucky that Louisville was playing too tight and careful. Two mid major teams playing with nothing to lose, I'd go with the more consistent defensive team in the regular season. Richmond!

Richmond is the absolute square play of the 3rd Round. I'm not saying it's the wrong side, but when you have a player that can dominate the boards like Morehead State does, you always have a chance.

Leaving out the A-10 tournament, Richmond went 11-2 over their last 13 games. However, their 11 wins came in games they should have won. They lost to Temple and Xavier in the regular season, which was expected. I follow the A-10 very closely and this Richmond team can go cold very quickly. They struggle against teams that like play physical and have some big men (like the home loss to URI in the regular season and 52 point performance in the A-10 tourney against the same defensively retarded URI squad).

I like Richmond to advance, but there is no way I'm putting my money on them after watching the hot/cold streaks throughout the season.

They are def a hot and cold team. (you could see this from the start of the game last night) But they have the athleticism to keep up with Morehead State. They might not have the best rebounder in college basketball, but Richmonds guys around the rim are long and can jump.

This should actually be a great matchup, couldnt have worked out better for both teams, they both have a decent shot at winning the next round.

Still pick Richmond to win the game. They have really proven themselves recently that they can pull out and win these games. An attitude which they didnt always show.
