Atlantic 10 Conference Throwing A Wrench In Things
Atlantic 10 is the conference that's going to mess things up for the Big 6 this year.

Xavier and Temple not in the title game, bubble team Richmond in the finals against underachieving all season Dayton.

A-10 will have at least three, possibly four teams in the tournament. Georgia, BC, USC, Colorado should be really worried at this point.

It's the Temple/Xavier factor. Xavier is always the favorite and never wins it, Temple is usually there to and has had success winning it and they both usually make it... then there's always that other A-10 team that goes deep in the A10 tourney that usually ends up getting into the Tourney, possibly two... this year, if UD wins it, there should definitely be 4 teams going. X, T, D & R.

Seems like this always the case with the A-10... Xavier and maybe Temple plus one or 2 bubblers.

You're exactly right. The previous 4-5 years, Dayton was always in that conversation with Temple/Xavier then they had a not so good regular season.

Rhode Island has been that team the past 5 years that needed one big win, got multiple opportunities in the regular season and conference tournament but could never get it. In all honesty, they could have made 3 of the past 5 tourneys without really doing anything special. Either win a game they should at the end or beat a team better then them when leading. Couldn't do either.

I don't think there's any real change if Richmond wins it. They were probably going to be in whether they beat Temple or not, only thing that will really mess things up is if Dayton wins tomorrow.

There are always going to be bubble teams. If not we wouldn't have to talk about anything the week before Sunday.

                    exactly.

Temple, Xavier, and Richmond are locks...only question is whether Dayton wants to join them.
