Yah, looks like they are giving away $800/day next month. That's considerably more than the $500(?) twice a week it was before. Presumably, it is sponsored, but still that is a lot of cash. I guess most poker winners are losing it back either in the casino/book or via rake in poker.

Poker is one of the ultimate social games and we are a social gaming site, we want to get it right. It's like Beat The Prick contest or the annual Bash or even the upcoming March Madness tournament, do it fuggin right or don't do it at all. Half measures are chalk favorites to fail.

In the non football months when there are usually fewer sponsors we will gladly sponsor it ourselves. The software performed well under increased play but still many areas to improve. We need the constant play to improve, test and perfect.
