I like Jeff Burton. Hes been fast in practice all week, and won the Duel 2. He drives for RCR, so hes got some fast teammates in Harvick and Bowyer to push him to victory.

If you believe stats...no one who's won the Shootout and 150 has ever won the 500. Also, Kurt doesn't have a strong teammate to hook up with like Hamlin, Johnson, and Harvick.

After watching nascar for years and this weeks Bud shootout and twin 125's heres a few notes

Clint Bowyer Looks best so far (this would be my choice for an outright bet)

Dale Jr I don't think he will win he's in a backup car plus he never has good odds because he's so popular a lot of people will bet on him.

Jimmy Johnson Not the best at these tracks

Jeff Burton Seems to run well with Bowyer should have a good finish of he stays out of trouble
