MILWAUKEE — Brandon Jennings, the Milwaukee Bucks point guard who has missed 14 games with a fractured fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot, has withdrawn as a contestant in the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star Weekend, NBA.com has learned.

He was forced to withdraw because of his injury and DeRozen replaced him.

Jennings can only do a few dunks really, I saw most of his pretty good dunks in his high school games, he's yet to do anything like it in the NBA and those high school dunks he did do still wouldnt get him past the first round of the dunk contest unless other just missed their dunks. He has ups for his height but wouldnt come near winning the contest.

underestimate? no1 even cared he was even in the dunk contest.
the dunk contest has been garbage, its a real waste of time
they shud just get rid of it, no1 important ever competes in it anymore

guys like dwight howard and blake griffin aren't important?

if they get rid of the dunk contest then what would replace it? it's an integral and fun part of all-star weekend

if some of you guys don't care about the dunk contest then why are you posting on a thread about the dunk contest

No is at +230. He's a fan favorite because he dunks over people with power. But will he be able to do fancy dunks in a dunk contest? I'm not sure about that. Anybody else liking this prop?

I'm sort of happy he's not in it. I'm a huge Jennings fan, but I don't care to see him in it.

I hate watching Nate Robinson barely put down dunks and win it because he's small.

Oh that sucks he has a foot problem. I was sure that many betting site gave Blake Griffin -200 or more to win it and Brandon Jennings + something. Would have won it.

If the fans are to vote the winners then we can all vote for the same person to lock in the win, but we all need to put our money on the same person and we need lots of people. Here what I am getting at if everybody was to bet on some dunker who has +900 and the fans choose who to win, it can all be rigged for the betters to win. The problem is we would need lots of people to place it.
