Rod, a little advice for you...look around this place, it's full of lifetime losers. Don't end up like them, stop now. Don't make another bet.Comment -

Anyone with 15k+ posts should be considered a successful gambler[B][B]They key isn't getting rich quick. The key is getting rich slowly, and enjoying it.

#8You do realize that everyone is just going to come into this thread and lie to you, right Rod?Originally posted by Dark HorseIf with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. Again, it matters not what it is. You believe in it, you are loyal to it, would defend it, and yet have no proof of it, other than that, at one point or another, you chose to believe in it. #11Rod I wouldn't lie to you. I am up but have had some ups and downs. It is true most of us cannot win at this long term and I don't deny that I could very well fall into that category but at this present time I am up. Been sports wagering like I said for a little over 2 years now. Approximately up about 8k Funny thing is most of my success was when I first started out. Seems like the more experienced I get the more harder it is.Comment -

#22I guess we can't take anyone's word so People who keep a spreadsheet have proof. I have considered keeping a spreadsheet at sbr but haven't got around to it. Even if I did I do not recommend tailing me as I consider myself a risk taker. Most of the time I am conservative but when I start losing I do tend to take big risks. I don't consider it chasing but it does cause huge swings to my bankroll at times.Comment -

#24I just got reports going back to my beginning in 2007 from my 3 books, and I'm down about $1,500....which when you think about it isn't bad (considering I typically wager between $50 and $150 a game). When I think back of all the brutal beats I've endured, I could be doing very well at this game. And trust me, my unlucky losses GREATLY outweight my lucky wins...its not even close.
I've made ALOT of mistakes, learned a lot of valuable lessons, but still fall victim to old mistakes. I'm not perfect, I'm not polished, and nor do I ever claim to be.
Im in good financial standing, and I take small losses relatively pretty hard. I cant even imagine how people around here lose 10's and 100's of thousands of dollars.Comment -

#29I'm up... I was always down before I learned about money management. But now that I'm somewhat educated and found a great capper to tail, I'm up. And its actually much more rewarding even though I can't take credit for the wins. Before I came to SBR, I had no clue you could make a killing with a 56% winning percentage. Now I know better.Comment
