Who do you believe is the most underated player in the NBA? I have five on top of my mind, Josh Bosh, Mike James, Tayshaun Prince, Gilbert Arenas or Mehmet Okur. I will say Gilbert is a superstar and is the most underated. What is your pick?

Chris Bosh or Gilbert Arenas. Mainly because of the teams they play for.

Players like Arenas are interesting to me because he is a waaay better pro than he was in college at Arizona. But he did play on an elite Wildcat team with Gardner, Jefferson, Michael Wright, and Loren Woods. Great starting 5 there.

I'd consider Pau Gasol underated right now.

By the way, Tashaun Prince isn't that good. An average small forward on the Pistons will look somewhat elite just because everyone has clear, defined roles on that team.

I'm usually not in favor of some of these homeboys in the front office because in general they are just there because of connections they had during their playing years and most of the time, they are not smart enough for the job and fail miserably, but Joe Dumars has done a great job. I take it he is the one making finacial decisions for them i think. Whoever is running the Pistons has sone a great job. That is exactly what a team is.

I like Eltan Brand is a smooth operator I should have put him on the list along with Kaman.

I was thinking about naming Brand too, but then I was thinking he was a known bonafide somewhat of a star now. He's meant about 15-20 victories for that team this season.

Kaman gets the vote for NBA's ugliest player. But he might have to fight teammate Sam Cassell for the honor.

I do alot of fantasy sports and Brand and Arenas are always 1st round picks. Not sure if they qualify as underrated anymore. If I had to look at the quality from a fantasy sports point of view then definately Mike James. He has been going probably 7th round or later and is putting up a nice year.

Mike James might be my pick. He was huge for Houston in the Playoffs. Isn't he making peanuts this year?

Shaun Marion. Not even close. This guy is one of the superstars in the league, but a lot of people still only take him half serious. His numbers are off the scale! Imagine Marion backed by a marketing machine like LeBron's.

I'd pull that Kobe commercial in an instant. Dumb 'Hate it, love it' crap. WTF cares? My Marion ad campaign slogan?

Shaun Marion is definitely a superstar, but because he is a team player and isn't flashy people could care less. Good point.

                                    Bosh by a mile......

Isn't Arenas 3rd in the league in scoring? I would classify him as a star, along with Brand.

I think you not even getting the guys name correct reinforces the issue.
                                    Honarable mention to James.

My personal underated player would have to be Delonte West for the Celtics.

the 2 names that came to mind were Arenas and Marion. I think Marion might be overlookes becasue he has the MVP on his team, and i dont know why Arenas is underrated anymore.
