Bush’s Swiss visit off after complaints on torture
Breaking news, political news, and investigative news reporting from Raw Story's team of journalists and prize-winning investigators.

"Bush was to be the keynote speaker at Keren Hayesod's annual dinner on February 12 in Geneva. But pressure has been building on the Swiss government to arrest him and open a criminal investigation if he enters the Alpine country. Criminal complaints against Bush alleging torture have been lodged in Geneva, court officials say, and several human rights groups signaled that they were poised to take further legal action this week."

Not surprising no country wants to have Bush on their soil. Well maybe Saudi Arabia.

unfortunately in america, presidents are only impeached for blowjobs and not for starting costly wars based on fabricated lies.

Could you imagine deuce in court. He would lose has cool way to quickly. Would want to knock out the judge for using legislation or case law in his decision, or if the opposing solicitor applied legal rules. His clients would end of doing 20 years for stealing a mars bar.

or imagine going in court angry after some bets gone bad. He's hitting around 30%, so the scenario is very realistic...

or he will say " you Honor, the defense won't make a closing argument, let's resume this session"...just because some baseball game is about to start in 15min and he didn't place his bet yet.
