The list of NBA stars who have gone broke is alot more impressive in my opinion since the average career of any nfl player can easily be twice as short as that of even a subpar nba guy.. But still, i thought Deuce had gotten some good change before he left, and seemed like he had a decent head on his shoulders

"Hollywood" Henderson went bankrupt and hit the lottery. He was a regular at a place I worked at. He came in about a month after winning the lottery and I walked up to him and shook his hand to congratulate him. I said "Congrats Hollywood...are you gonna keep doing your speaking engagements?" With a big smile he said "You kiddin' I'm gonna double my fee. I went from rags to riches to rags and back to riches. That makes a hell of a story." I think he won 18-20 million from the lottery.
