I like the Illini but am hesitant to back them on the road. Northwestern over valued because of keeping Ohio State close.

that hasnt been their only good game. they are scoring a lot against everyone. if the fighting I cant get some inside game going- they are going to have a lot of problems. the first of which being getting out-shot by northwestern.

Illinois is behind MSU on the bubble now. MSU has more quality wins and fewer bad losses.

IL is 15-8 and MSU 13-9, both 5-5 in conf. play and IL beat MSU in their only matchup.

Not sure what the quality wins are. Both beat Wisconsin at home. MSU also beat Washington and Minnesota at home (nobody on the road) while Illinois beat Maryland neutral and North Carolina at home. Not a lot of quality wins either way.

Not sure I agree with you, I think Illinois a nose ahead right now, but it's academic because there are a lot of games yet to be played. Both are on the bubble right now.
