I have no problem with these guys going out and having a few drinks. However, I would call a bar/restaurant and pay them to shut down for a few hours. I also would make sure no employees were allowed to come to work with their camera phone. Most people don't care about players having a few drinks, but I don't think this is a good time for Ben to be making headlines for partying.

Largest factor will be to his image in regards to advertisements. Who wants to sponsor someone who messed up and CANT learn? Kobe messed up once and now look...getting those $$$ back in endorsements.

While Big Ben wasnt going to get certain advertisers back ever; you would think for two weeks he could focus on business, win the superbowl, and continue to say/do the right things. In a slow superbowl for the main stream media so far, Ben just made their day for one day

i don't think ben cares whether anyone but his teammates endorse him. he gets his respect based on how well he plays football. if people don't like who he is, or what he does, i'm quite sure he is not losing a whole lot of sleep over it. i like it.

Ronjon I am in total agreement with you. Nothing wrong with Ben having a few drinks at a bar a few days before the SB, BUT considering his recent past and the spotlight on him...AND him giving the different man front? He should have reconsidered the timing because he opens himself up to debate now. Had that been Aaron Rodgers last nite there most likely would have been no demand for TMZ to purchase the vid because Nothing was happening or happened other than an Adult having a few drinks enjoying himself.

I agree the timing was poor. But would this still end up on TMZ the night after the Superbowl? Wouldn't it be about the same. I mean if he goes out partying he is going to get looked down upon by a fair percentage of people.
