They have good starters when all are healthy, but no they have very thin bench. I don't think they have a shot for playoffs.

Very solid starters when all are healthy, but they have very thin bench. Slim chances for playoffs. There's more than 8 better teams in the west.

Well the top 7 is set and the battle for 8 is Portland, Phoenix, Houston, Memphis, Golden State, Los Angeles. Hard to predict how things will go but I will be shocked if Warriors beat out all of those teams. If Carmelo gets traded and Denver starts losing like crazy then that would open up another spot.

I love the Warriors, I've watched every game this year and get over to Oakland as much as I can. But I can't see anything playoff related this year. That bench is just too bad. As you said, Acie Law is a horrible option. So is almost all of our bench. If Biedrens was playing better than average this year I'd be a lot more stoked. They can't run their starters out there 45 minutes each every game and there's no way they'll win enough on the road. Plus, Smart is not always that bright.

But they sure are fun to watch! Hope they can fill in their holes soon.

Yuck. Don't remind us the SF Giants won... :P It's too bad GS doesn't play in the East, they'd get in but not in the Western Conference. I'd give the edge to POR for the 8th seed. I think MEM is a better team, but POR has a better record.

There's ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE THEY MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.

You'd probably need something around 48 wins to make the playoffs in the West this year.

Warriors 18-23 with 41 games left, they would have to win at a 70ish% rate all the way to get in.

Like I said, NO CHANCE.

If somebody in the NBA has a worse bench than GS...I haven't seen it? I will say I'm always very impressed by the Golden State crowd...you would think they're a team with a very good record and recent history in the playoffs? My home state of Indiana has always been a basketball state but steady losing has killed the enthusiasm! The Warriors lose more than we do & their place is always packed and loud?
