For the record, neither of us are religious so we don't want married by a priest. Folks who don't want married by a priest, must be married by a judge. Judges don't marry folks on the weekend. Judges don't do anything but golf on weekends.

Thank you. Yea I am going to be responsible. Or gonna try. We tried to get a Justice of the Peace to do it on a weekend, but that wouldnt be until March. So I called a judge that I used to work with and he said "why not come down and do it tomorrow." Both her and my family are local, and could make it.....so here we go I guess.

We've been engaged forever, so we thought let's not wait any longer.

PLUS thanks to Dr. Martin Luther King, and getting hitched....I am looking at a 3 day work week! Priorities.

it is a mistake that you are making but at least you are not doing it in a church and forcing people to give up their weekend to attend the boring event. people just hate to be invited to weddings. what an insipid way to spend a day.

You should really reconsider marriage if you are not religious. Marriage is the union of two souls before God. I can assure you that if you and her do not believe in God your marriage will fail. Consider seeing a religious marriage counselor first.

Well...thanks. But I am forcing people to come to a reception in May to celebrate, but at least no ceremony.
