Believe it or not, I make part of my living betting on sports. I also have a job that allows me to make the mortgage and light bill payments if I have a bad month. (like this month is looking after this weekend.)

It's ups and downs. The downs seem like they last forever. They suck. This is a mentally taxing gig, and a hard hard way to earn. If I could go back and do it all over again I would have never started. Sports betting has surely taken years off of my life, and that was just from watching football games this season.

You really have to be able to watch thousands of dollars go down the drain and then have the mental resolve to still make good plays the next day. (or 2-3 days later. I am a big fan of taking a day or two off.)

That being said, I usually seem to scrape together a small profit each month during football and Basketball season. If only I could train myself to only bet Baseball. Hmmm... Can't wait till April!!!!
