In my 6 years of betting College, I have never seen anything this ridiculous.

Except maybe the 2007 NCAA tournament where the Favorites covered most of the rounds. The reason that happened was because the more superior teams learned from what George Mason did to #1 UCONN in 2006.

I almost managed to dodge all the landmines yesterday ...

thirteen for thirteen on a fourteen teamer and then Buffalo goes and loses in 2OT

i don't have any hard data to back it up, but it seems to me that over the years, dogs have done better on Saturdays (particularly home dogs). maybe it's that playing a top notch team on the weekend is more of a "circle the date" type game? or, perhaps it's just that i remember these kinds of games more.

Well it certainly wasn't the crowd for Central Florida: Houston barely had 300 ppl in the stands. I guess some teams aren't taking the transition to conference play as well as others.

Right about now, Duke, Ohio State, and Purdue are the most consistent bet-worthy teams.

                      good day for the contrarians.

I expect a bounce back day for the public, Sunday.

Many lose outright on top of not covering. Thats the killer for many
