The NBA likes it because for a good part of the day they are the only show. The players work for less than 3 hours and fly out right after the game. The Bulls will be home for dinner. People in the service industry, many making minimum wage, have to work. I'm sure Lebron doesn't care when he gets a cup of coffee that the server has to work.

Same reason why they play on Hannukah or Ramadan. Christmas is just another day out of the year....the world doesn't stop turning because of it. Tell that to the Doctors or Priests that work today as well. Since 1949 NBA teams have played on Christmas and it won't stop anytime soon. Also, the Cowboys are playing as well....shame on the NFL
