okay so you fail to take into account why Jets ran for 100. Carolina has averaged 167 ypg rushing the last 4 games. And Polly isn't playing and if Polly didn't play for the Steelers every week they would be about the 7th best in the league. Didn't say Panthers are great, just think they can cover this number because it isn't like the Steelers are playing really great either. Without Polly playing in the few weeks before the Jets game they would have lost to Ravens and who knows about the Bengals game as he made a big time play to take all the momentum away from the Bengals.

The NFL produces huge upsets every year. Yes, they got killed but would you still be posting this if they would have lost by 7? The public play won tonight, it wasn't like this is the first time I have bet a huge underdog and ended up losing. I wasn't comparing the Pats to Panthers, you missed the boat on that one. I was just saying how one game a week before or a week after can be a very different outcome. Teams that aren't as good can come out and play strong and suprise everyone. In this case yes it went the way it was supposed to. Panthers were supposed to get murdered hence the -14 point line. But I remember about the same situation in the Pats/Browns game earlier this year and Browns beat the shit out of the Pats. Did anyone sit here and say hey take the Browns because they are going to crush the Pats? Not from what I saw
