    Anyone been to Lake Tahoe?
Whats the party scene like out there in early March?

Trying to decide between Tahoe and Vail. Any insight would be appreciated.

But we also went 1 time the week after spring break and stayed in Keystone at the Arapahoe inn. Hands down the best time of my life. Right across the street there was an awesome dive bar(lamb something). Nice pool hall/mexican joint in the strip right next to the hotel, and right down the street had a awesome Sublime/311 cover band playing(snake something pub/bar) And they seem to always have good bands playing there if your into that. The whole trip was a haze, because we had a DD the whole time, so we just drank the entire time.

If you don't know the locals, the party scene is kinda week in Tahoe.

Hard to beat Vail. Been to both, I just like the Vail atmosphere better I guess. Many different options at Vail. Great bus system to get around lionhead and vail village. Best of Luck.

Tahoe oo but better in summer, when your going could be cold and snow

Can't go wrong with vail at that time of year, but I would definitely consider tahoe if you can get some reliable feedback. I've heard nothing but good things from my whereabouts... should get great snow and weather in march.

Yeah, my friends want to snowboard all day.

I'll probably just get a snowmobile for a few hours during the day, maybe snowboard for a couple of hours as well.

Mostly will be trying to party though

Been to Tahoe plenty (live in the SF Bay Area). Tahoe skiing is decent to excellent. When it's good it's AWSOME. Best times are late January through late February for snow activities. Early March should be good. Party scene can be pretty week though, even in the summer. Bring your own party crew and it's all good whereever you go. Never been to Vail, can't speak for it. If you're looking for skiing and partying I remember Mammoth being a good spot.

The one great thing about Tahoe is the casinos. Ski all day, poker all night. If you've never been to Tahoe, do it just so you have a basis of comparison. The skiing is usually good that time of year and that's what you're going for anyways, the party is the bonus.

I have a friend who is on Match.com. So whenever we go somewhere he scans Match.com in that area and contacts the single ladies to find out where the places to go are. Sometimes they even meet us there. You can always use craigslist instead of match.com for that.

Also as in any ski resort, make the effort to meet people on the mountain instead of trying to meet them in the clubs. If you can hook up with a fun group on the mountain, the party will probably be at the condo/hotel room they or you are renting rather than the bars at the two or three casinos that are there.

Heavenly during the day and Tahoe casinos at night is a pretty evil matchup...

...you can fry a Bankroll in record time while getting your snow plowed by the snow bunnies, to boot.

Tahoe is fantastic, but yes, most parties there are at condos or cabins. People tend to go to Tahoe in large groups. It's not really a "girls weekend" type of place where you can do some damage on unsuspecting drunk broads.

Tahoe MUCH cheaper than Vail, too.

Ronald is pretty much on with his analysis. That's true of most ski resorts. You don't get gaggles of girls like in Vegas, New Orleans, etc. I don't know many girls who go for a ski weekend with a group of girls. They always have guys in tow. Unless they are staying close the casino (where the bars are), they'll stay in whereever they are. I mean, they've been skiing all day. Time to relax.

Dude, don't knock Whistler. EXCELLENT skiing in Whistler but don't go unless you got cash as it ain't cheap and drinking in Canada can get expensive.
