It would be an illegal transaction under this new law. I don't know if they will be able to enfoece it, and I don't want to give them any suggestions or a road map.

What would be illegal exactly? Sending money to books via Neteller? Uploading funds to Neteller for the purposes of sending to books? Both?

I don't know what will be safe, maybe Neteller. Probably best not to speculate.

I can only answer the legal question if it passes.

OK, I'm not an American so forgive me for playing dumb here.

              Under the assumption that.....

              a) The current Wire Act isn't being enforced to any degree.

              b) The WTO upheld a complaint from Antigua that restrictions by the USA on cross-border breached free-trade rules.

....then what's the point in any further legislation?

The current wire act does not criminalize money transfers.

The current wire act applies only to sports and horse racing, not poker and other casino games.

The current law has a maximum sentence of 2 years, the proposed on 5 years.

The proposed law flies in the face of the WTO decision.

being that this bill includes poker and other skill games as opposed to just games of chance, I cant see them enforcing the criminalization of the transfer of funds on the player end, rather on the operator end, they probably will have a few hundred example cases, but to enforce it to the last player, would take more of a force than what’s currently stationed Iraq, Afghanistan etc

If I read someone’s earlier post on this wrong, but I thought I read that skill games were included in this bill

The companies offering the backgammon and other skill games accept PAYPAL (SkillJam ) as a payment option, so how they were included in this bill is beyond me

                  Just my $0.02

could all this be a smoke screen to deflect the media attention from the fact that Cheney shot an old friend of the family
