NFL Token Hiree Fails Miserably in Covering Up Blown Call in TB/Skins Game
Its too bad NFL's VP of officiating Mike Pereira has retired. He used to appear every week on NFL Network to explain questionable official's calls. Now we fans have to suffer through this incompetent goof Carl Johnson. Here is a link on his explanation of the "proper" 1st down call after the Skins gained 9 yds on 1st & 10.

I'm not sure what your problem is with the call/explanation. I was confused by the telecast originally as well, but figured it out based on the down markers on the field. He seems to be saying what exactly happened.

Is it that you just don't like black people?

Oh my god, you can't be this retarded. The ball was on the 12 yd line. They gained 9 yds on 1st down. The ref gave the Skins a first down. It should of been 2nd down. Everybody sees that. Except the cover-up goof and you.

Look at the video. Ball on 12, unofficial yd marker was placed at the 3 instead of the 2 yd line for a 1st down. That made it 1st & 9. The NFL says this was a "proper" call. Are you kidding me?

Look again, Fox has thier magic Blue/Yellow lines in the wrong spot.

They have the LOS as the 12 yard line, looking at the bottom of the screen, who is on the LOS you can clearly see the offical LOS is the 13.

Meaning that the 1st play, which advanced the ball to the 2 1/2 was good for a 1st down, despite Fox's error.
