Pierce: Top 10 clutch player all time???
    Jordan
    Bird
    Magic
Reggie Miller (only guy without a ring)
    Kobe
    Pierce
    Horry
    Billups
    Ginobilli
    whose #10???

This is a list of players from my lifetime who seem to always want the ball in their hands at the end of the game and seem to succeed. Just love getting buckets to put the dagger in the opposing team...Pierce is one of my all time favorites being a C's fan. Guy loves the rock in an iso situation at the end of games and comes thru consistently. Gotta love that. I know I've missed some, who else is just clutch as hell and everytime they hoist one up at the end of a game you think its gametime???

All Time? No 1960 or 70 players on this list. Bill Russell should be on the list before Miller.

I never really saw Bill russell play, but he's my dads favorite all time, him and havlicek...I thought Russell was more of a dominant Defensive force...but I guess there are numberous ways to be considered clutch

                They keep stats on this:

NBA 2009-10 season player clutch stats in the fourth quarter and overtime of close games, including points, rebounds, assists, field goal percentage and more.

Not sure how LeBron can be left off any list.

Like the guy above, not sure how u can leave Lebron off the list. His ability to drive and finish is definitely a key factor as well as his spot up shooting. Man can do it all. Too bad hes a douche

Just looked at that list, that is just all regular season nonsense..."per 48 minutes of clutch time" haha
Any list where Vince Carter is #7 I will disregard, along with Lebron...Carter has choked numberous times in playoffs, and Lebron has quit in the playoffs.
Clutch to me is defined by you know he's getting the ball and taking the last shot and is gonna make it.

Carter has missed multiple times in big spots and Lebron didn't even want the ball in some instances. Both remain of my list until they step up in a few big spots

But Lebron is a dominant force, I like to hate on him sometimes...but he truly is a remarkable player...the only time I remember him hitting a game winner in the playoffs was at the buzzer vs orlando.
And last year against Boston he blatently gave up and in one game he didn't even want the ball in his hands at the end...cowardice
In the playoffs this year my thoughts would be D. Wade taking the last shot...he could be #10 on my list b/c he has proven he can hit big shots in the Finals vs the Mavs. Did it in college, he's a scary dude at the end of games with the ball in his hands

Lebron has more game winning shots than anyone in the NBA

Which players are the best in the closing moments with a game on the line? 82games.com seeks out the answers in this look at game winning shot stats.

Horry is the most clutch in playoff.

Guy is also a top ten limper of all time.
Every time he misses he gets hurt.
