          True but colleges also get the pick of their recruits, at least at most of these top schools.

              In baseball - year in and year out - working with the players he has - Ron Gardenhire.

              Tom Izzo same way in college hoops.

              Both consistently beat teams with far more talent - and if you don't play hard/smart you don't play.

                          Agree with everyone who has mentioned Gardenhire.

                          College hoops, I'm partial but I still love what Mark Turgeon has done at Texas A&M. Josh Pastner, Sidney Lowe and Matt Painter are three others I'd take if a decision was up to me.

                          College football, I'd love to have Jim Harbaugh or June Jones running my program.

                            I'll stick with my original assessment then - not one of the US coaches in any sport would probably even make my top 10.
