Going to Vegas and Need Advice

I am hoping yall could give me some tips since I am going to Vegas over Christmas with family (that Thursday to Monday). I think we will mostly be eating, seeing shows, and that sort of stuff but I will probably have time to get some +ev bets in between that stuff. Probably will not be leaving the strip (and its off-shoot streets). I know a lot of you are really into match play coupons, how do I get these from the casino (and how do I get a bunch of em?) Any recommendations of places to find these "funbooks"? Also any chance of scoring free play or other +ev stuff? I understand that casinos on the strip aren't as likely to have good stuff but thought you guys might have some good ideas about how to find stuff nevertheless.

Follow these steps.

Ask at check in for a fun book.
go to the front desk at every casino and ask for a fun book some will direct you to the club card but some just give them out.
Sign up for all the club cards are every casino you go to
If you fly in, grab every "entertainment/coupon tourist book" you can and scan them you might find one, maybe two (if your lucky) match play in it. Worth a look.
take a cab, cabs have coupon books in them. You might find one or two match play in there if you're lucky.

Most matchplay you'll find in the free coupon books is definitely off the strip. Some downtown. But mostly stuff outside of either.

Never heard of the Amazon coupon book but check it out, might be handy. You should be hitting the web hard right now for coupon books. there are a few good sites that will send you one. Just google, "Vegas Match play coupons", "Vegas funbooks" or "Vegas Coupon Books"

where in vegas are u going to get ev+ bets.? i assume this means matchplays. because unless u know how to play poker, Sportsbet. I recommend 2 or 3 team ml. parlays. (+ev), or have card counting abilities at blackjack, or some sort of progressive betting system on BJ or other table games, or machines. there is no +ev, here in Vegas.

not saying u cannot win here, but u seem to think there are ev+ wagers to be made here. i just gave u the list i know of, and do play, with success. although i don't drive a mercedes yet.

u can bet the ufc fite tomorrow 124 main event. st. peirre is -550 at the Cannery. u can't wager more then 1000 bux, and u can not parlay it. LOL.

anyway.. tonite, i hit a 2 teamer parlay heat ml. and dux ml. even. money. yesterday i hit (sortof) a 4 teamer. mavs ml. bruins ml, la kings. pendin$g steelers ml on sunday. +220. ev+

i also made some pizza change playing bj on the machines using a betting system. this betting system went undefeated in november sessions but then i busted that bankroll out in december moving up to higher wagers. ast lower wagers i make + money. the machines are suppossed to be honest by law, but i don't know if i believe that yet.

Bring with you a minimum of 5 self addressed stamped envelopes. Make sure their all written out and ready to go. When you get up to a certain point, send half of it home. Once it's in the mailbox you can't touch it. Keep doing it every time you hit a predetermined amount. At this point, even if you go broke, you'll be coming home to money. If you hit a slot jackpot make sure you get half in a check, keep the rest as cash, send that check home.

It's advice that was given to me after I came home and gave back all my winnings. If only I had that advice beforehand.

BookiesBernanke has the right game plan but wrong play calling.

Go to the Keno lounge. Bring as many people as you can. Have everyone pick a 5 spot at $.10 a game for 100 games ($10 bucks) that ticket will last quite a while. Then grab a cocktail waitress. Pay her $1 per order per person (order a shot and beer). And tell her to come by every 10 minutes. If she comes by after 10 minutes and no one wants a drink, give her a dollar for the effort. She will come like clockwork and it will be a drunkfest (throw her an extra buck or two every five trips). No need to stand around, you can sit in comfort and get blasted and they can't ask you to vacate the chair because you are playing. Cocktail waitresses aren't stupid. If you're tipping every time, she will stop at you every time. Oh and make it easier on her if you have a few people with you by everyone ordering at once. Trust me, she will be your groups biggest fan and will make sure your drink never goes empty.

NEVER had this play fail.

I do that even when I'm betting on games. Most places have a TV or two in their Keno lounge. For a small tip you can get them to put on the game you want to watch. The sportbooks are always croweded and hard to get a drink. But the Keno Lounge . . . when done right is alcohol heaven!
