It's disgusting when you only have 10 minutes available to place bets at 2.30 in the afternoon eastern time and the books don't have the moneyline and totals posted for games that start at 7 eastern.

Books got hurt on hoop totals in recent years and taking counteractive measures. CBB totals are worse.

That's bullshit. How come greek, 5dimes and Pinny all posting CBB totals? You think they like losing money? I think they get there ass kicked on totals early, but fuk we are now a full month into the season and most teams have played 6-10 games. Any competent Linesmaker should be able to come up with a total fairly easily. For fuks sake they make a killing booking NFL and with their .20 baseball lines they basically have a license to steal but these worthless fuks refuse to book shit that their ROI does not meet a certain level. I'll go get a job stocking shelves before I bet the NFL.

The three A+ books you mentioned all have lower limits on CBB Totals than any other type of sports bet. Smaller books that have lower limits across the board don;t want the CBB totals exposure unless they have like $50 limits.

Yea, it's really a balance between keeping the sharpest line (the latest) possible while not losing players. Bodog's ability to release lines late speaks to how good their marketing is along with the other parts they do well.

CRIS is smart. Who wants all the one way action, then all the middles that are set up by the large movements in the small market. I have been on both sides and believe me appeasing sharps is the last thing a book cares about.

I have an idea for everyone who wants to bet totals, set your own market at matchbook. See how you do putting up a line, I will be waiting.
