Was at the Empire State Building...
Last weekend. I can only imagine what the people in the WTC felt when those planes hit. I walked up 6 floors and was tired. The chaos and panic that ensued must have been unreal. Chatted with the security guard who told me people have jumped off the Empire State Building before; pretty high fence but someone could easily scale it at the right time.

Imagine what was going through the people minds who jumped from the burning WTC buildings. I still watch the videos of that. To think they made the conscious decision to jump to a certain death rather then burn alive.

Unreal. I am afraid of heights but stayed at the top for at least an hour.

I think people who jump from high rises (obviously not the 9/11 victims) are selfish because they might kill an innocent bystander walking down the street when they fall to their death (same with people who jump on rail tracks). The prudent way to committ suicide is jumping from a bridge in the river and don't endanger other lives (if you chose to do so).

Come on man, what if a boat passes?? The way to kill yourself is make sure the house is empty, take a sleeping pill and park the car in the garage running. Put the seat back, maybe get a pillow and either turn the radio to a station you like or plug the ipod in with music you love.

Thats the way to kill yourself,

                Nuff said

My ex gf worked across the street at Merryl Lynch (whoever you spell it)

I showed up for work, I was a night manager - it was closed and I didn't know why. I was taking time off from TV at the time.

I called my boss and he told me what happened. I cried as I walked home thinking Heather was dead.

She showed up about 2 days later and told me all about it - she didn't remember much, just running and screaming and crying.

Probably the most scared I have been in my life.

RIP everyone who bit it that day or because of it, there r so many.

We take so much for granted, and it can be taken away from us in the blink of an eye.

Bateman you should have called me I would have bought you a sandwich and some chips and a soda.
