Watch for teams quitting down the stretch
Goes without saying, but we're reaching the point in the year when teams may start giving up. If we learnt anything from the Cowboys and Vikes this year it's that desire and motivation certainly do play a big part in week to week variation.

I'm not a big fan of technical analysis, but it needs to be considered from here on out.

#1 team to watch out for: Denver. Team is coming off a terrible offensive effort and is in shambles, coach likely gone at the end of the year.

Great point, and I agree with the Broncos being on that list. I wouldn't be surprised if we can say the same for the Redskins soon.

I was actually impressed with how hard the Broncos played yesterday. They didn't play well...but they did play with good effort.

And Bolen has tapped danced all around Josh McD's return...so you gotta figure he's a dead man walking...

I think the LA Clippers are quitting down the stretch.

Meh, I think that's just them being terrible from the start. Outside of their first games against St. Louis and Seattle they've been historically terrible all year. I guess if you count playing Hall over Anderson as quitting.

Have you watched their last few games? It is true that they were not that good to begin with, but they are playing with no effort whatsoever.

I thought Coach Whiz was a pretty sharp guy...but he has absolutely screwed the pooch with his ham-handed handling of his QB position...

They've got 3 QB's...none of which can play. And that's on Whiz...

Agree with most. Denver, Arizona, Tennessee, Carolina, Miami, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Detroit have all quit. At this point losing is a must for them as they position themselves for draft pick order.

I could not have been more disappointed when Minnesota fired Chilly. That teams DOA and fully ready mail it in. Now, they are playing quite a bit better.

Arizona, without a question, belongs on this list. Washington appears to be as well. The team hasn't responded to Shanahan and there's likely some lingering issues surrounding Haynsworth and McNabb treatment.

Another team that may go this route is Carolina. They aren't very talented and seemed to lay down in the 2H yesterday. Plus its usually a good idea to bet against the bad rookie QB. Clausen has played that role well so far this year.

                      Watch SF now too.

Take Denver off the list for a while. McDaniels was fired. Now they may not quit.
