Very few MNF booth crews that have followed have been able to match the pleasure given to their audience by Dandy Don, Giff, and Howard C. You were an original, both in the booth and as a QB, Dandy Don!

Just savor all the great Monday Night memories he provided us. The banter between Dandy Don and Howard Cosell made MNF worth watching even with two crappy teams playing. Just wish I could hear him sing "Turn Out The Lights" one more time. RIP Dandy Don.

Don was one cool Sportscaster. I remember a game, I do not remember who was playing when Bubba Smith

sacked a Quarterback. Don said thats Mrs. Smiths boy Bubba. No disrespect was intended but try that statement today. Rest in peace Don and God bless you and Howard!!!!

I liked Dandy Don as a qb and announcer! To be honest I hadn't thought about him for at least 10 years or more! Out of sight out of mind! Would the last person here turn out the lights the partys over!
