    Your worst tilt?
I just had mine, I think. Lost $12 when I accidentally entered wrong horse # this afternoon in a box exacta where the horse I accidentally left out won the race. Tried to win that back with a couple hands of blackjack for "fun." Now down about $30. No big deal at all. Chase that with a loss in NCAA hoops. Now down $100. No problem. I double up on Wisconsin OVER 127. Woohoo! Except turns out I selected the under and didn't realize it until i checked my balance. Go all in Spurs/Clips OVER. That's a loser. Turned a $12 loss into a $400 loss and then did about $600 more damage to my office. Broken chair, broken glass desktop, broken remote control, broken keyboard, broken speakers, broken glass, broken plate, broken waste basket, broken portable hard drive, broken fan, broken side table, seriously dented metal filing cabinet. How bad has it been for you?

Threw a chair once into the floor when a friend who owned a horse lost a very close photo. Fortunately, this was in the comforts of my apartment. Unfortunately, I lived next door to my landlord. Unfortunately, the floor was soft, the chair was steel, and the ground shook mightily. Fortunately, I made up a bulshet story on the spot to her about having tripped. . .

$200 loss and you are breaking shit and flipping out? Ha! Just the other day I was at a poker club. I went to the strip club and walked in there with two buddies afterwards at about 3:45. Played until 5:45 when they announced 15 minutes until close at 6. I got a table change and went all in blind for my $160 I had in front of me until I doubled up or lost it. I lost it. I cared for about 30 seconds and then carried on with my life.

The worst tilt I ever went on involved losing about $26,000. Not fun, especially when you don't have the money to repay it. The following day I called, explained, apologized and was stuck paying $500 a week for the next 60 weeks. That was not a fun year.

I went on tilt back in February and after a horrible losing streak (like 1-15) I bet $5,000 (all in) on the fukking Clippers. That shit crashed in the first few minutes as they didn't even show up. Who the fuk goes all in on the Clippers??? I clearly wasn't in the right frame of mind.

Worst tilt was in the Caribbean. I had a 10am golf tee time but got in the casino an hour earlier. In about 30 minutes I must have signed about 8 markers and before I knew it, I was down 20 G's. I shit you not, in less than an hour. I was so fuking distraught, the first day of a 8 day vacation. I sat and moped in my room for about 3 days, didn't even want to go to the beach.

Well, I finally get out of my depressed stupor and took $400 and got my $20k back and went up $5k... Only to give the $5k back and go down $10k in the end. I couldn't wait to get the hell back home after the worst rollercoaster week of my life. If there's a zone past tilt, I was there. I must have looked like a crack addict...

The amount of money has nothing to do with the degree of tilt. I've lost far more than 400 bucks in day. The money means exactly nothing to me. It's not the losing but the way I lost that sent me over the edge.

I'm feeling better now, though. Feels good to commiserate.

Share your story if you're feeling it. I think it can make you feel better, even if it was a long time ago. Besides, it's nice to be reminded that this sh*t drives other people insane, too.

In recent memory, the Bengals back door cover against the Steelers on MNF. It was the last leg of my 5 team parlay that had a nice pay out. I was already celebrating and then the Steelers just let them come back.

Part of what made me so crazy was that it felt like I couldn't lose, 3 of the teams in the parlay pulled out close wins. The Mavs somehow beat the Celtics in a thriller and I was riding the wave.

Are you married to a teacher?
