Obviously a huge game for both teams...Patriots have offensive advantage, while the Jets have a better defense(currently). Who you got as the winner and whose the games MVP?

#6I'm a die hard Patriots fan, and to be honest, earlier in the year I was very worried about this game. However after seeing them step up to the plate for the big games like the Steelers and the Colts, I am much more confident. Brady, center stage, at home? Yup, this will be a hell of a game possibly the best all year. Both teams will be at their best, but because the pats have stepped up to the plate in the big games previous to this one i see them pulling this one out.
I'm not betting on it though. This game is still too risky for a definite call on the spreadComment -

#7I cannot WAIT for this game. I'm nervous as hell for it, though. As a Diehard Pats fan, I can't effin' believe that we can be 9-2 and have a MUST WIN in Week 13, but that's what it is. The loser of this game has to win three road playoff games to get to the SB. Winner gets two at home. I mean come on, that is BIG.
Obviously I'm a homer, but the reason YOU LIKE THE PATS in this game is simple: Belichick has had ample time now to work out the game plan. And Brady is SO frickin' competitive that I simply cannot see how he will allow his team to lose. Knock on wood, he's healthy and at the top of his game right now. Oh, and he's won 25 regular season home games IN A ROW.
The reason we lost the first game was from Brady trying to feed Moss all second half. That problem has been solved and this offense has been clicking like crazy for three weeks now.Comment -

#28Jets vs.New England Patriots point spread is currently posted at -3 points chalk the Patriots with the total expected by the odds makers at 42 points. For the stats-lovers, the betting trends show that the NY Jets are 4-2 against the spread in their last 6 games and 5-2 against the spread in their last 7 games on the road. And although New England is 7-2 against the spread in their last 9 games when playing NY Jets, the Patriots are 3-9 against the spread in their last 12 games when playing at home against the Jets. Also notable is the fact that the total has gone UNDER in 4 of the NY Jets last 5 games when playing on the road against New England. As far as injuries are concerned, the Patriots have plenty as usual, but the most noticeable will be the absence of Pro Bowl linebacker Adalius Thomas, who injuries his arm during the game against the Bill. Although not confirmed officially by New England, reports in the media claim that Adalius Thomas has indeed broken his arm, obviously a season-ending injury. Patriots running back Laurence Maroney and safety Rodney Harrison are also out, but Green-Ellis is doing a good job in replacing Maroney so far.
Monday night’s game is going to exciting, but I wonder if the defense is up to the challenge. I have no worries about the offense scoring points, but as they say in New England or should say, defense wins championships. Hopefully, the team figures that out sooner than later.

#35I think a healthy Revis will do a better job on Branch then a banged up Revis did against Moss. With how bad the Pats looked against Peyton Hillis and the Browns who can't throw the ball, I don't think Mark Sanchez has to do much more than just hand the ball off and mix in some play action. The Jets won by air at home, but on the road they should follow the mold set by Baltimore in the playoffs last year, and just ram it down the middle. Belichick can game plan all he wants, but his defense won't get any bigger or stronger until next year's draft.
The fact that the Jets take the gas pedal off when they play against mediocre opposition sometimes is irrelevant to this game.
I could see the Pats winning this one by sheer force of will on a late FG, but I think the Jets cover.Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.Comment
