No, not sarcastic at all. If a team is slower to begin with, a slow field will not change how they play the game. Conversely, the speedy team can't execute its game plan effectively.

In fact, your response helped prove the point. The difference between 4.1 and 4.3 is MUCH more significant than the difference between 5.1 and 5.3.

WHAT!?!?!?! .2seconds is .2seconds! do we have to go back to 7th grade "when train A leaves...?" if D.Jackson is faster than C. Tillman on turf, and he burns him for 20 yards. when they hit soldier field grass, and both speeds slow, the ONLY thing that changes is the extra .2 seconds the QB needs to set in the pocket. which is minor! I could see it being a problem maybe against Freeney and Mathis, but not against the Bears.
