This Aub team reminds me of what happened to TN in '01

The TN-FL game got moved to the last game of the year in "01 because of the trade center bombings. TN beat their rival Florida 34-32 on the road. All they had to do was beat LSU in the SEC title game to play Miami in the Rose Bowl. There was so much talk about TN and Miami and the Clausen led TN offense that was hot vs Miami's stingy defense that it was rediculous. Well, the Vols forgot they had to play an 8-3 LSU team with a physical defense. Needless to say the Tigers beat the Vols and that put Ohio St in the National Championship game in which they won. Could this happen to Auburn who will be talked about playing in the title game against who knows versus a tough, physical South Carolina defense with a good running game? I can see this upset as a real possibility.

Auburn wins it all this year. Unfortunately for them it will be short lived. I expect the hammer to come down on them next year and will have to forfeit all of it.

Auburn has 24 seniors this year and a veteran offensive line. With solid leadership from experienced players and a stud QB.....the Tigers are enjoying a great season.

Alabama will be loaded next season. Yes they will lose Ingram, Jones and McElroy but if you look at the Tides depth chart.....next season will be something to look forward to. Alabama just doesn't lose many seniors.
