I love picking out the degenerate phucking gambler in the room and watching him sweat the phucken action. Pretty easy to spot and always piss them off by turning the channel to cartoons for the kids just before a big play (a red zone play, key third down, etc). Then you just watch the guy phucken sweat as he tries desperately to contain his anxiety.

That would make me want to punch a hole through the living room wall, but since kids will be in the room no choice but to contain ones self.

                    Hysterical.

Good stuff, especially the Obummer thread sig. Spotting the degenerate is indeed much easier than getting the president to show a real birth cert, which is just crazy.

Everybody knows that I will be betting and will root for my plays to cash. It's not a problem when you don't make it a big deal and can afford whatever you lose. Good luck on your plays.

rule #2, never watch games you bet on
(rule #1 was something like never chase your losses)

Yes all of the football games will be on anyway. Texas/Texas A&M is a big Rivalry game in my family. In fact we're going to the game.

I have always been checking the games on thanksgiving, this is the first year that I've told them I have money on it. I expect to get into a drunken discussion with one of my aunts at some point about how gambling can ruin my life. I think I'm going to start drinking now.

The biggest problem with letting family know that your gambling is when you win they think your rich not knowing it's only money ur getting back that you lost before

and when you lose you have to hear them say this is why you shouldn't gamble.

                                              it's a double edged sword

Smokey, normal people don't check lines and scores on Turkey Day. They look up recipes, call loved ones and relax. Turkey Day is one of the most stressful days of the year for sick phux like us. Lots of action and pressure to bet big.
