Agreed. I think being in prison made him appreciate what opportunity he had. Once he had his second chance now he is making the most of it. The guy always had the talent. Now he has the motivation. Vick is the QB to keep an eye on for the remainder of the season. I'm interested in seeing how far he can lead this young Eagles team full of talent.

Agreed... he'd be good either way I think. Back then he was one hell of an athlete that played QB. Now he values it more and has become a QB that's also one hell of an athlete!

Prison changed him a ton. He went from having everything to nothing very quickly. It's hard to not have an appreciation to get a 2nd chance and learn from mistakes.

Maclin and Jackson are also much better than the caliber of White and Jenkins at the time Vick was with the Falcons.

It changed him for the better. But to be a true elite QB he has to win in the playoffs. If he doesn't protect the ball better when scrambling he is going to get in trouble in the playoffs. He has a shot to be the best QB in the NFL though between his arm and his legs. Now he just needs the mental side to catch up completely. I think he will see more blitzes especially from his left.

I think we all agree he has become better having served his time.
He was paid next to nothing relatively last year - showed his hunger and desire and has taken the next step to a top 5 QB.
His running dimension has been crucial, but his composure and throwing ability has been stepped up massively.

The Giants should have constantly brought pressure. They really started getting after Vick and affecting his game. He was reverting back to his old habits (poor ball security, head down, etc). It will be interesting to see team's game plans against Vick for the rest of the year. I would imagine a lot of relentless pressure.

It is indisputable that he is a much better quarterback today then he was before he went to prison.

He got more shifty in the clink.....has to learn to juke and duck guys trying to tackle him for the booty in close quarters....scrambling in the pocket with pads is easy now

The fact is none of us know him away from the cameras and so far he appears to be saying the right things and staying away from trouble so I give him the benefit of the doubt. People change for the better all the time. Has he fukked up since prison to warrant being called a thug and scum?
