Steve Nash about to be traded?
It seems like anytime a superstar gets "injured" when the team is playing poorly it's really the team protecting their trade asset and making sure they are in good draft position.

The groin injury is the perfect one to put on the IL when you don't want anyone asking questions. You won't see Cheryl Miller come over to Steve at half time and say... So Steve, How is your groin? What can you tell us about it? Is it a high groin injury, is there swelling? It's perfect because it never has lasting effects and GMs know he's fine. You never have someone out 3 mos with that.

I'm thinking NY Knicks. Every winning team has a good PG. Him in Miami would be something but with everyone on that team taking a pay cut, would they ethically be able to do it? As all 1st half trades, this could have big impact on season wins wagers.

I read earlier this week about him going to NY, to team back up with Amare, and his old coach.

I would not want aging guard on my team

He cannot GUARD anyone, he will not get a team to the next level

Doubt he ends up on Knicks. If he's dealt I could see him ending up in Dallas as part of a big 3 team deal with Suns and Knicks. Kidd goes to Knicks. Felton to Suns and some garbage contracts like Butler, Curry etc... being thrown in.

When he gets his physical I wonder what they will say about his deviated septum?

Might as well trade him while you can still get something for him.He can still help a contender for sure
