I was hoping they kept within 9, and they flat out win

classic stuff... star player declared out before the game, public pounds the other team, and team without star player comes out with nba finals type of effort and not only covers but wins straight up...

It's not strange. That's how it is in the NBA. Sometimes you'd even think the books arrange such things - ask a player to claim he's injured, adjust the lines against the shorthanded team, get the public to pound the "healthier" team and then punish public foolishness.

Suns got pounded without Steve Nash last night.

That's more an exception than the rule.

I got tricked into this play also, Boston thought they could just show up and win.

Ya, Orlando was already poised to destroy PHO with or without Nash and OKC is a better team than PHO IMO anyways, so I wouldn't include that game either.

I'm an idiot, I didn't think Boston would cover so I took them on the ML when I should have just taken the points.

What was even better for the books on this game was Green was already out so add Durant to that and most would say 2 of their top 3 players are out. To top that off they were playing Boston in Boston. I can imagine the larger than normal bets that people placed based on that fact. Books probably cleaned up pretty well tonight on this one I would imagine.

It was a big surprise but Westbrook showed his true colors, he is a star no doubt about it. Just hidden behind Durant.

you should all know by know. always take the team with the injured player out. the others look at it as an opportunity for minutes which is all you need in the nba to score points, since it is the easiest thing in sports to shoot a basketball especially at the height of basket compared to the height of the players. people continually get sucked in when they think because a star is out the opponent will roll. yes, sometimes it works but not more than about 40% of the time.

OKC played horribly in the 4th quarter. Celtics just didn't turn up the D until the 4th quarter and by that time, it was too late.

Definitely didn't expect OKC to take out the Celtics, wish I took the ML instead of the spot but a win is a win
