One of my fave shows ever. Well ahead of its time. What did you think of the movie version w/ Colin Farrell & Jamie Foxx. I hated it when I first saw it in the theatre, but I've watched literally a dozen + times on HBO etc., and I've actually grown to dig it. It's surprisingly very re-watchable on tv. Very cool graphics, great soundtrack. Miami Vice is an excellent franchise!

i watched the movie once. it was ok. of course movies have a much deeper budget then the original show. jan hammer made MV what it was with his music, cause the acting is pretty weak all around

I remember it very well. Calderone killed Tubbs' original partner and after working with Sonny and crew on the case decided to stay in Miami. It was my all time favorite show. I've got the originals and new one on DVD.

This is one of my favorite scenes - from the series finale. Crockett and Tubbs loading up with anything they can find and heading out to blow anything and everything away!

One of the older series that still holds it's own. The Calderon arc was one of the show's best.

One of my favorite shows of all time. Partly because I used to have a bunch of guys over drinking beer watching MTV Top 20 countdown and then Miami Vice on Friday nights. Occasionally some college girls would come over because they couldn't buy alcohol so we gave them beer and occasionally got lucky on the waterbed. Damn, those were the days!

I now watch this show every Friday night on hulu.com. I saw this episode a couple weeks ago. I believe the 1st season will still be watchable until early in 2011 when it will either be unavailable or you will have to pay to watch it.

As I watch it now I can't believe I didn't notice how bad of an actor Phillip Michael Thomas was.
