anyone have a Droid 2?

I have Verizon for starters.

I'm really lookin at the Droid 2 for a phone upgrade. I like the big touch screen with the option of a keyboard as well. Anyone have anything bad to say about this phone other than the shorter than average battery life?

Its a great phone, not much bad you can say about it.

Get the Droid 2 Global version now though.

No complaints at all. Works great for wagering and SBR, including the sbrlines page.

i have had the EVO since the day it came out, Droid 2.2 OS on it, can't complain about much. Phones are so far advanced over what they were just 5 years ago its sick

They are coming out with a new droid next month called the PRO i believe...might want to wait and look in to that.

They are coming out with a new droid next month called the PRO i believe...might want to wait and look in to that.

Droid PRO is already out and its a blackberry type droid phone.

Droid 2 Global is coming out now, its a world phone with a 1.2 ghz cpu.

The pro is just the professional version with no camera. It's targeted more towards business people who can't have camera phones.

Droid 2 Global is coming, but the Droid 2 is a nice device. Gives you the versatilely of the touch screen and keypad.

2 friends of mine just bought the droid 2 and they love it....they let me check scores on it and its very easy to use

i love my droid 2 the batt life is a slight issue but they do have an app to help extend life that works well and if you have a car charger handy for times where you are using a lot of juce like using the gps navigation while listining to music in the car it sholdnt be that mutch of an issue.

Love mine. Batt. life isn't the best, but there are things to do that can extend like dimming screen helps alot. Tons of great apps, snapdragon OS, awesome pics/video, good audio, just an all around kick ass phone. I'm sure the Iphone is either comparable or just as good but I can't imagine a phone on the market right now being any better.

It really depends on what type of computer you have/like...the Droid is formatted with PC coding the iphone ob. mac. I love my phone, i spend way too much time on it...its gonna kill me one of these days, either driving or my girl friend stabbing me from being on my phone too much...one of the two...

well I got the Droid 2 yesterday and like it a lot so far...although when I read reviews about short battery life I didn't expect it to be this short. Seems like you can barely make it thru a day when just using it off and on throughout the day. I just turned on Maximum Battery Saver mode so we will see if it helps tomorrow.
