We drove home from St. Jude's tonight, still not knowing the results of my son's bone aspiration. Heavy hearts. . . but we had ~10 days that we could be at home. So we unloaded the van, we were about finished when we got call and it was from the hospital. I shout, WHAT! WHAT! Then my wife told me that unexpectedly it was negative. Remission! Completely unexpected. It had been at 18% and needed to be less than 1%. We were beyond worried.
I have never been happier! No stem cell replacement/bone marrow transplant, just steady chemo.
Praise God! Indeed, a miracle!
Thanks to all who sent prayers and good thoughts are way. Things are at least looking up.
