Auburn should be the unanimous #1

I been saying this for a while. Auburn has beaten some great teams. Oregon? Not really. The argument that Oregon should be #1 over Auburn because of blowing teams out is stupid.

Not to take anything away from what Auburn has accomplished, but they seem appropriately ranked. Auburn has 3 point wins at Miss. St. and Kentucky and needed OT at home against Clemson before winning by 3. And remember, this isn't an incredibly strong Georgia team this year. They lost to Colorado.

Winning on the road in the SEC is not an easy task.

The Team A lost to Crappy Team B so Team C should crush Team A argument is silly.

And Auburn won by 18 anyway...

I'm not making that argument. I'm just saying you should temper your enthusiasm a bit based on the totality of what we've seen all year.

Tide rolls in this one.

Auburn's secondary will have no answer for Julio Jones.

Defensively, Newton is going to get stuffed by that physically imposing D-Line. The way he delays his runs in that option will cost him.

Lastly, playing in Tuscaloosa is by far the toughest venue in the SEC.
