Bodog Bouncing Checks (Again)

This probably has to do with the payment processor and/or your bank. None the less, this sounds like a correctable problem, though it is an inconvenience.

While it's frustrating (and inevitable) to have a bad batch of checks float around, adding specific banking info actually just hurts the player & makes it harder for sportsbooks to process transactions.

I just took a look at my checking account and saw that my payout check from Bodog has bounced. It was for $100. Small change compared to some bigger players. My question is what kind of run around am I going to get from Bodog. I have read horror stories about them in the past.

Have you called Bodog yet? They will send a replacement & cover any fees imposed your bank, you will need to provide proof of the returned check. You can always write to help@sportsbookreview.com with your account #, but it doesn't sound like you'd require our assistance at this point.

I fully disagree as well. Yes, I don't have a ton of money to be gambling, but for me it is nice to put a few dollars on a game for some action. I am not in it to make $1,000's. I am in it for the recreational aspect and with my income $100 coming back to me after I deposited $25, is a lot.

Wow you serious, $100 cheque bounced? $10,000 maybe I can understand there is a good reason but $100 bounced due to NSF is very disturbing for any BoDog customers if what you are saying is true.

Unfortunately just about every book that has check processing has had to reissue at least one batch of checks within the last year. It's not related to the amount or NSF. It happens when the third party check processor decides it doesn't want/choose to continue processing for the gaming company and has live checks linked to a checking account that is now closed.

Best case scenario is they break off the relationship and give the funds to the sportsbook who reissues the check through a different processor. Everyone apologizes and players are compensated when necessary. The worst case scenario is the processor claims to have their funds frozen or just stiffs the sportsbook. It's kind of ironic that the sportsbook also has to post-up funds.

That's why being established in the industry and resourceful is valuable to players. Bodogs and the Bookmaker.coms get stiffed by a processor and it's considered overhead vs. an excuse for why they folded with your money. Checks bouncing in today's environment won't usually affect a rating but the ability to absorb processor issues, handle the impending influx of CS inquiries, and have the resources to correct it quickly will.

who are u to tell someone that a hundred dollars isnt worth getting a check for.there are a lot of peoplethat play just for entertainment and not as a living and to them every dollar counts.but since your such a big shot and u dont think hundred dollars isnt worth getting a check for,why dont u just give him the hundred dollars out of your pocket since u dont think its a big deal.love it how there are a few guys out here saying that small checks arent worth getting them cause they are too small and they are the ones who are living off there family.

They probably did it intentionally out of spite because you made them cover processing fees to send out a measly $100 check.

This is why books charge everybody $35 processing fees because if not everybody would be asking for $50 payouts every other day

It would be a whole lot easier if they would add some more services like ** and money gram for the smaller cashouts such as these. No bounced crap, no bank problems, and you get the money just fine, they would get the deposits just fine, and the world would turn a lil smoother

I just had a $900 check bounce this weekend. As soon as I get paperwork showing from bank I will be submitting to them. Also recently did a payout for $1345 using their ******** card and thus far cannot access my money from atm, *** shows bodog has not loaded. I got a very quick response from a mod on here that is assisting. I am hoping to get these resolved as I have been with them for years and very little issues.

i need help here. i was just going down to redeposit with bodog but i also have a heritage account and they offered me a 300 match if i deposit 300 and if i lose the 600 will replace it with another 300. rollover applicable of course. should i do that (have the cash) or should i throw another 100 at bodog which is user friendly but if they don't pay????

Becky please tell me why when bodog bounces checks they make the customer send in information from their bank about the bounced check. Bodog for sure knows when a check is bounced and they can stop payment on a check if they feel like they might be scammed by sending out two checks. First off this policy sucks because it adds weeks onto getting a payout and even more paper work for the bettor who is the real one getting screwed. And on top of all that like hell Im sending any banking info to a company that just bounced a check.

I got a check on the 5th from them out of ************* as well, was going to cash it tomorrow. If I contact them is there any way they can tell me if my check is good or if the processor got shut down and mine will bounce as well? Or will they just tell me it's fine no matter what, whether it really is or not?

They will make it right. In case you don't know, many books have this problem. They will certainly not stiff a 100 dollar player- you are their bread and butter.

I received a check yesterday and deposited it today. I'll update whether it bounces or not. It looks like it was from the same bank as the OP's check was.
