    Betting Limits Cut
I recently had my limits cut at SOS (SportsOffshore). I won roughly 3K-4K in 10 days. I am about 200-400 better a game. It was just one of those winning streaks and it just happen that I like to play the money lines for basketball. SOS decided that they will no longer allow me to play money lines. They took that option away completley from their software.

My question is this normal practice for sportbooks when you get hot. Like I mentioned I only bet few hundred dollars a game. SOS has been around for a while but I am not sure how big of a book they are.

Has anyone ever used SOS and has this happened to them.

    Thanks

When you bet has more to do with it then how much. Congrats on the nice run!

yeah, if you are betting games late and are ahead of line moves, they will most likely cut your limits for sure...either that, or your playing with a book that only likes losing players...

I would e-mail them to confirm they are not allowing to bet m/l games for $200-400 per game. If they say yes, WD immediately.

Top shelf books like Pinnacle will allow you to bet m/l games all day long. Their lines are the best I have ever seen. For example: today they have the Cavs -315, takeback on NJ +285.

Yea I find that really hard to believe. SOS is a decent book and they can take a bet.

Please confirm and let us know.

Like Chuck mentioned, stay with the big books who welcome your action. On the SBR Recommended List, where Pinnacle is # 1, look for books with a "P" next to them. The P is for professional, those books welcome all the action they can get.

                John,

I actually talked to them today and they say they do not offer money lines for basketball anymore. But I found out that was bs when a friend of mine says me bets money lines there all the time. I am probably done with that book because I like Pinnacle alot. Also just to let you know I had no problems collecting from SOS through neteller, I took out a good portion of the money won.

                Thanks

SOS eliminated NBA/CBB moneylines from accounts of selective customers/scalpers in mid-January. I know of two people who this happened to ... Hanco makes three.

See they told me different, that they no longer offer them to anyone. If they don't want me booking with them thats fine just tell me. There is no need to lie about it. The scalping word is harsh, I just like to bet money lines and for some reason they classified me as one. Ouch!!!

no point, pinnacle is much better. I am just sore because they told me they were not offering ML to anyone. Since they they cut that option from my account 3 weeks ago I signed up with Pinnacle and they are a much better book and no BS. Better lines too.

                        Take care

yeah, no reason to play at books like this with pinnacle and all of the other great books out there...

                              Hanco,

They told me the same thing. They said that they no longer offer ml's. Then Halifax pointed out to me that for thier guest lines, mo's were still being displayed. So I called them on it, and they said that the feature was disabled for certain players. I think their problem was that they were mostly moving on action. AS a result they often had stale lines. So OSmeof us were tearing them apart. I guess they decided rather than hire someone to make sure thier lines are updated, they'd just limit who can bet ml's
