Cris Weekly Review for the week of Jan 30th
    Cris Weekly Review 30th Jan

I don’t have much to report this week with the Super bowl coming up and Pittsburgh and Seattle having a week off to prepare. The Australian Open tennis concluded with the short priced Roger Federer claiming his seventh grand slam title. Federer was a big -800 to beat Marcos Baghdatis from Cyprus. Federer was a big favorite (-200 before it begun) to win the Aussie Open especially when Safin and Nadal withdrew before the tournament started. The women’s final ended with a ‘No Action’ result for us as Henin-Hardenne retired in the second set due to injury.

Betting to win a tournament can provide a big payoff and the Amelie Mauresmo bettors were rewarded with the odds of 5/1. The Australian Open was a small winner for our customers which wasn’t surprising considering how popular Roger Federer is with the betting public. NBA was a good week for our customers as well, especially our game total bettors. College basketball was a lot better for us than the NBA. Game point spreads and parlays were our best options for us, but the public definitely got the better of us with College game totals. We seem to have a great amount of customers who are particularly good at game totals, but compared to last year we are at least getting better. Ice Hockey betting is really starting to heat up with customers starting to understand the new rules. This week was a bad NHL week for us with our customers coming out on top. This week is the Super bowl and we are already offering a heap of propositions on the game. Not only can you bet either Seattle or Pittsburgh to win, but many of our customers like to follow something different like the first team to score or how many passing yards for Matt Hasselbeck. Log on a take a look and see what proposition interests you.

Until next week, enjoy the Super bowl!
