Veteran Cop Charged In Gambling Scandal

CHICAGO -- A 12-year veteran of the Chicago Police Department was charged this week with operating a gambling parlor disguised as a beauty shop.
Internal affairs on Thursday arrested Jefferson Park policeman Richard Teresi, NBC5 reported.
Inside Valentina's Salon on North Elston, investigators found three video poker machines and card games.
Police said they were tipped off by a patron who felt he was cheated on his bets.
