Trouble with sunset sports now sports-gambling.com
I was one victim of the recent sunset sports scam. That gave me big headache during the past month.

I had an acct at sunset sports. The most recent transaction before they "bankcrupt" was that I deposited $800 and received $160. The rollover requirement therefor is about $6000. After I had completed the rollover and asked for a payout of $5000 (although my whole acct balance was standing around $7K). They delayed and delayed again till they closed in the end. Then I was told my acct has been taken over by sports-gambling.com. I enquired with sports-gambling and was told I have to wager 5 times before a payout would be granted. I think this is unfair considering my balance is $7K and that means I have to wager a huge amount of $35K, and I have completed the rollover at sunset and didnt receive any promotion from them. It could well be I lose all the money before the rollover is completed. I emailed 3 times to their manager, but 2 weeks passed by, no reply has been received. This makes me more worried as no response could mean sports-gambling.com is not trustworthy too.

Any can advise me what to do next? Your suggestion would be much appreciated.

If I were you, I would shut up and get that roll-over done at sports-gambling.com. You should just be happy that they bailed you out.

So, an original deposit of 800 results in a 40,000 plus rollover ... Nice story.

yea,i have to appreciate those who bail out other books.sports-gambling doesnt accept monetline bets towards rollover unless it is hockey or baseball,so forget playing hoops moneyline there if rollover is an issue.good luck and be glad your funds still exist.

Wonder what AK has to say about this - he's still happily sending players to their doom at Sunset Sports.

                  Samfoo,

The problem is that you had 7k at sunset. And if sunset were to pay you, they could only afford to pay you maybe $700 if that much. So Sports-gambling stepped in, and say hey, will pay this player his full ballance but first we wnat him to give us a fair chance to win back our money.

It's a lousy situation to be in. But Sports-gambling is really being fair here. The only thing they have to gain, is your loaylty, and the advertisement from being able tos ay we bailed out the SUnset players. Buit any money you walk away with, is money out of thier pocket

                    Thanks for the reminder, jumper.

Chuck, I was enticed by their email advertisement.

marc, I understood and agree with what you said. My worry is that sports-gambling might be like sunset, after I complete the rollover, they refuse to pay or close shop. As the huge rollover can take me a long while maybe half a year. Dunno what will happen by then. :-(

What I am looking for is that they allow me to withdraw a portion of my balance or low down the rollover to 3x.

This is Bill's last report on the situation. Perhaps he's heard something more recent about them such as players getting paid.

                      SBR Bill Dozer reports:
SunsetSports(SBR rating F) players left with more questions. Last week SBR confirmed with Sports-Gambling(SBR rating D+) management that the book, which is part of SBGglobal Group, would be taking over all Sunset player accounts at the start of this week. SBR has since spoken with SBGglobal’s General Manager who said the deal is not finalized and all accounts may not be migrated to Sports-Gambling. SunsetSports.com is now back online, claiming they are under a new company under different ownership. Sunset, which redirects to SunsetWager.com, tells SBR that customer accounts were divided according to "player packages" and some accounts will be moved to Sports-gambling. Sunset is telling account holders they must roll-over their balances 6 times before they can have access to their funds. Players are rightfully concerned that Sunset’s latest promises will not be fulfilled. It is more probable that this wagering requirement is the latest stall tactic for unmovable accounts than it is that a new owner chose to take over a no-pay sportsbook, service its frustrated bettors, and build the tainted brand.

This sounds like a scam all the way. Apparently Sunset Sports is still taking in deposits from the unsuspecting, while telling players who want their money, they must roll it over 6x.

BTW, SBG Global is crooked and not to be trusted.

i received an email from sports-gambling telling me about a nice bonus for sunsetsports customers(fortunately i had no balance at sunset).so i sent a dime or 2 and just finished the rollover today bringing the balance up to $7261.glad to report that sports-gambling was friendly and just told me they will send a free neteller payment my way.was a little nervous reading this thread but it looks like sports-gambling is solid(max payout $2500 per day)

When bluemarlin collapsed, sports-gambling offered 100% bonuses 9can't remember the rollover). EVeryone (and thier borther, siter late aunts and uncles...) who took sports-gambling up on the offer got paid.

Whether it's x3, x10 or x20 - the most important thing is that they have paid people in the past. Good luck, samfoo!
