I just signed up with mansion and they are asking for photo ID to be sent despite using net teller exclusively. Is this common and if so how did people from the US or Canada take care of the request? Also if someone could explain the current bonus situation. I believe that I understand it but am not quite sure. Thanks
mansion?

#2Speaking of Mansion, I'm not sold on their new sports exchange. Is it true that they're fading out their traditional sportsbook and only going with this option? That would be sad because I really like Mansion, but I'm just not sold on their sports exchange deal.

#3I never liked sending photos so I will not play there
Play at Pinnacle and get reduced juice and forget all silly bonus rollovers, ect
Its not worth the hassleComment -

#4Hi 32,
Yes, it is a very common request.
I believe Pinnacle was the first book to ask me for a photo ID. I scanned my docs once and saved the file on my PC and then ended up using it a few times. I would recommend doing this. If you don't have a scanner most photo marts like CVS or Wal-mart can make the jpeg file for you.

Step 4: Claim your Bonus Credit
Once the event of your first MANSION Sports Exchange wager has officially settled, simply send an email to customerservice@mansion.com with “50 Free” in the subject line and your MANSION Nickname in the message. Our customer service representatives will verify your qualifying wager and credit your account for an amount equal to your first MANSION Sports Exchange bet up to GBP 50 (or currency equivalent). Upon verification a credit will be added to your MANSION account in your designated account currency at the current exchange rate. To the right is a list of GBP 50 currency equivalents provided for reference purposes.

#5Hey I know 32counter. Normally when someone makes a first post here, I am inclined to welcome them and be all nice but in your case, I would have to say:
Welcome and good luck in everything except the upcoming Box Challenge.
As for Mansion, I sent them a scan of my driver's licence. Simple - end of story. I keep that photo saved in my computer because some books require it. All Australian books for example, are required by law to have photo ID to process payouts.
No big deal at all, as far as I'm concerned.
They didn't have a bonus when I signed up so I've just taken a look at the website. I see they have different deals for the Casino versus the sportsbook so I'll talk about the Sportsbook and you'll have to let us know if you meant something else.
It's pretty straight forward. You open an account, make a deposit and place your first bet. Rather than paraphrase, I'm going to copy the rest from the website. FYI, as of right now the currency equivalent of 50 GBP is $90 US, $113 CDN.

Without giving you a big song and dance, the Mansion exchange is my #1 out right now. I have been a Pinnacle guy for a long time but the numbers don't lie. I am finding more good numbers at Mansion.
I don't even look at the Sportsbook any more since some recent changes.Comment -

#12Yeah, I'm still getting the hang of those lines being there and figuring out the best way to use them to my full advantage.
Definitely a good thing though.

#13Went back and read that long thread you, vazack, depeche and others had in gaming industry forum. Very interesting stuff. Probably would be tuff but having the line movement history on each game would be nice. Seen this a few other places. That way if you are just logging on you are able to determine the movement trend.Comment -

#14I'm all for that. I don't know the logistics of it but it would be great to have.
Good suggestion.Comment -

#15The only problems I've seen with SBR Odds is that the opening line (for monitoring line movements) isn't posted and the lines don't refresh automatically every 15 or 30 seconds (like Rx and Sportscrew). I would also like to see BoDog, WSSB, and Gameday on your list of books. Very excited that Mansion is coming though!

FYI, what I've heard is that the SBR Odds do refresh every 30 seconds.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.Comment
